Meet Our Staff

Many of you come into the office, so you may know all of us. But for those who just call or send emails, you would probably like to put a face with the name (or email address).

Front Office

DallasThis is Dallas. Dallas handles customer billing and accounts receivable. Yes, she's the one that emails those pesky bills!

Dallas started working for Altaire in August 2000. Dallas is always cracking jokes and makes us laugh. She's really fun to work with, too.

DebbieThis is Debbie. Since I'm writing this, I don't have much to say about myself. I am one of the owners of Altaire. I also have another business, Animal Staples, right next door to Altaire. These two businesses keep me pretty busy.

Bob OttoThis is Bob. Bob is also a Microsoft Certified Engineer although his job duties are a little different than you would expect. Bob travels around the state and teaches computer classes for Mountain Plains Health Consortium out of Fort Meade. When he's not on the road, Bob may pick up a tech support call. He is also willing do some consulting when he is in town. Feel free to call for an appointment.

John ShaftoThis is John. John is one of the owners of Altaire. He is also Debbie's husband. John has been involved with computers for many years. Before starting an ISP (Internet Service Provider) business in Washington in 1994, then here in 1996, he was a network administrator for ASiMi (f.k.a. Union Carbide). John doesn't do many service calls these days. If you've been a customer for a long time, he may have set up your Internet software, or set up a network for you.

Hopefully, you feel like you know all of us a little better. Remember, before you hit the "send" button on your email program, there is a real person on the other end!
